Mr. Brown is one of the ten suspects in original idea of Cluedo. He is removed in the first edition, along with Miss Grey, Mr. Gold, and Mrs. Silver.

A later suspect based on the same color is Monsieur Brunette, first introduced in the Clue VCR Mystery Game and later appears in Clue Master Detective and Cluedo Mobile.
