Cluedo Mobile, known as Cluedo: The Classic Mystery Game is a paid mobile app based on Cluedo board game, developed by Marmalade Game Studio. The gameplay is same as classic cluedo, but there are some new elements including boards and characters. In the app, you can play with computer with a difficulty you like, or multiplayer games with your friends or someone random.

You can download Cluedo on your computer for free, with all maps and characters unlocked. However, PC players cannot play with mobile players so you will need to wait longer and play with AI in online games, thus this method is not recommended.

1. Download 7zip on your PC if you haven't
2. Download clue
3. When the download is complete, go to downloads folder, right click Clue.zip, click 7zip > extract to (a file)
4. Go to the file popped up > Clue > Cluedo.exe to play
5. Right click Cluedo.exe to create a shortcut on your home page for easier playing.

Hello Detective
You’re invited to the most deadly party of the season! Join your friends and family, become iconic characters and enter the Mansion! Soon after you arrive the host’s body is discovered at the bottom of the stairs. The house is on lockdown until the puzzle is solved and the criminal is revealed.

Whodunit? With what weapon? Where? There’s six suspects, six weapons, nine rooms, and only one answer…

Play the part of an iconic guest!
Gather up to 6 players and become Miss Scarlett, Colonel Mustard, Doctor Orchid, Reverend Green, Mrs. Peacock or Professor Plum. Any one of them could be guilty, all you have to do is crack the case!

Roll the dice and move between the rooms.
At the start of each game, one suspect, one weapon, and one room will be removed from the deck, and the remaining cards will be dealt to the players. If you ask: “was it Colonel Mustard with the Rope in the Drawing Room”, a player holding the Colonel, the Rope or the Drawing Room must show you a card. Enter every room in search of answers!

Test your powers of deduction.
The virtual Cluesheet will automatically keep track of the cards you’ve been shown and cross them off your list, but you can add ticks and crosses of your own. Pay attention to what your fellow investigators are asking and who replies - you may be able to find answers without even having to ask!

Once you know the answer…
It’s a race against time! You must be on the scene of the crime to make your accusation, so roll the dice, get to the correct room and unravel the mystery! If your accusation is incorrect, you will be eliminated from the game. Don’t risk letting the criminal escape! Be sure before you show your hand.

Single-Play Mode

To play with AI, tap Single-Player, choose a map and a character you like, then you can play with 1-5 AIs. You can add a player by tapping their faces then their suits. You can change the difficulty, namely easy, medium or difficult, by tapping the arrows of chosen characters.

Difficulty

The difficulty can be altered by changing the AI’s strength in Single Player and Play with Friends modes that include AI characters. To do this, tap the character profiles of the AI you have added to the game and cycle through Easy, Medium and Hard difficulties for that specific character.

To be clear, the difficulty settings for the AI simply change the tactics that the AI uses during the match, and doesn’t affect their luck or “knowledge” in any way.

For the hardest possible game, add 5 AI characters and set them all to Hard.

Hint

You can activate hint when choosing map if you are a beginner. With hint, you have 4 abilities:

1. Make someone reveal any card they like
2. Move anywhere after dice rolling
3. Skip all players a turn
4. Get notification when a computer player almost make a guess.

All hint can be used once only except the 4th hint. Your result won't be recorded on leaderboard if you activate hint.

Online Multiplayer Mode

To play on multiplayer mode, choose Online Multiplayer, then choose a map, character and player number (3 or 6) you like, then you will be assigned into a game room. Tap ready and wait for others to do. The game starts when all players tap ready or the preparation time ends.

There are time limits in multiplayer mode to avoid offline and disturbing players. You have 40 seconds to ask questions or make accuse, and 10 seconds for other actions. If you don't perform any actions, computer will randomly do it for you. However, computer may ask stupid questions so you had better perform actions yourself.

Play with Friends Mode

To play on Play with Friends mode, you need a total of 2-6 real life friends including you. Choose a board to get a password code. Ask your friend(s) to enter it to get into your game room. If your room has less than 6 players, you can include AI(s) and choose a difficulty you like, similar to single-play mode.

Shop

Only Tudor Mansion theme is unlocked after you download the app, so you need purchase the 10 themes which includes 6-9 characters with new costumes and board with decorated and renamed rooms and weapons. You can unlock all game content with Ultimate Detective's Package with a discount. Alternatively, you can purchase board or characters separately. Characters in "The Internationals" namely Prince Azure, Inspector Grey, Mrs. White, Miss Peach, Monsieur Brunette and Madame Rose are not included in any themes so they must be purchased separately or with season pass.
