Clue Cards

Clue Cards is a game mode in Cluedo Mobile 2023.

Description

The number 1 in both dice are replaced by a magnifying glass. Magnifying glass means 1 available move. If a player rows a manifying glass, they draw a clue card and follow the instructions on the card, then they follow the dice number, move to a room and make a suggestion. For example, if a player rows 6 and a magnifying glass, they draws a clue card and have a maximum of 7 moves on the board.

If a player rows 2 magnifying glass, they can only draw 1 clue card and have a maximum of 2 moves.

Clue Card

Pick a suspect/weapon/room to be revealed

Anyone with the card you picked has to reveal the card to everyone. If no one reveal the card you picked, that card is in the envelop. Do not pick cards you have or cards you know someone has.

All players reveal a card

Choose a card that you showed to the most player previously to reveal.

Anyone holding [item] card, please reveal it

If no one reveal the card stated on the clue card, that card is in the envelop.

Changes in game duration

Using this game mode in a 6-player game can shorten game duration significantly because player receive more information with clue cards even it is not their turn. With more information, players can make an accusation faster. This game mode can shorten game duration in a 3-player game but the time shortened isn't signifant.
